About

Brad Coleman started racing karts with the encouragement of his father in the mid-seventies and placed in the top five in his class in both sprint and road racing national events. After finishing his degree in aircraft power plant mechanics he went to work for the Lockheed Corporation. Soon he found himself thinking about a business in the karting industry designing and manufacturing high-performance products for racing.

To gain knowledge and experience before setting off on his own, Brad worked for Mike Van Kralingen at VAN K Engineering and Wally Baynes at the Inglewood Kart Shop.

Coleman Products opened in 1981 with the goal of designing and manufacturing the highest quality parts and accessories in the karting industry at very competitive prices.

Continuous involvement in karting, anticipating advancing technologies, hard work, and a constant focus on customer satisfaction has allowed Coleman Products to mark over thirty years in the business of supplying a world wide network of dealers and distributors.
